Get to Know
Hey There! I'm Erika.
I'm the founder of Let's Choose Child Care, and a lifelong advocate for children and families.
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and moved to Florida shortly after for my first teaching job. For nearly 10 years I taught elementary school as both a classroom teacher as well as a gifted teacher. During this time I worked with children of all ages and family backgrounds.
In 2012 I opened a private preschool academy, which I still run today. With over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, I've had the privilege of working with countless children, parents and educators. I can truly say that this work brings me so much joy.

Over the years I've given thousands of tours to new parents. Time and time again, I've noticed the same uncertainty in their eyes:
